Whose Reality? Context theme

Exploring or presenting themes or ideas in the context chosen here for exploration in print, non-print and multi-modal texts.
Reflections are offered on the ideas and/or arguments suggested by the texts. Explorations are offered on the relationships beween purpose, form, audience and language, and an examination is made of choices made by the author in order to construct meaning.

Students are directed to draw on the ideas and/or arguments they have gained from texts to construct their own text for a specified audience and purpose. They are encouraged also to draw on their experience of exploring texts in their explanation of decisions they have made in their own writing about form, purpose, language, audience and context.
